| Captain Scott's | Captain Scott's Lobster Dock is right on the water. Order your lobster or seafood at the window and eat at picnic tables. A great place on a sunny day. 80 Hamilton 860-439-1741 From downtown New London, take Bank St to Howard. Turn left on Howard and look for Hamilton on your left. It's only one block long. Drive to the end and turn left. Open during season. | ||
| Lighthouse Inn | This 1920s mansion turned inn is being redone by the new owners. But some things are staying the same like the grand staircase. One of my favorite places. Ask for a table by the windows in the main dining room. Try the clam bisque it's one of their specialties. Piano music in the bar some evenings. Take Bank St to Howard. Turn left on Pequot. Drive past Pfizer's new facility and past the Harbor Light lighthouse. Look for Guthrie on the right. It's at the end of the road, you can't miss it. 860-443-8411 | ||

| Olde Tymes Restaurant | Good home cooking. I especially like the turkey dinner with all of the fixings. They cook whole turkeys themselves so it's not just sliced turkey breast.
